Shadow Day with Dr. Tara

In-Clinic Observation • Optional Hands-On Model Add-On

Spend a full day inside Delle Chiaie Cosmetic Medicine observing Dr. Tara’s assessment style, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making in real time. This immersive shadowing experience is designed for aesthetic providers who want to see how an expert injector evaluates anatomy, communicates with patients, sequences treatments, and creates natural, long-lasting outcomes across multiple modalities.

Throughout the day, you’ll observe patient consultations and procedures, listen as Dr. Tara walks through her mapping and safety considerations, and see how she builds trust and clarity with every treatment plan. You’ll also have dedicated time to ask questions, review what you’ve learned, and explore the clinical “why” behind each decision.

Shadow days are fully observational by default, with the option to add a hands-on model for guided practice.

Optional Hands-On Model Add-On (+$800)

For students who want to pair observation with supervised injection experience, you may bring up to 2 models of your choosing for a hands-on session during your shadow day.

You must bring:
• Your own model
• The injectable product(s) you plan to use

Dr. Tara will guide you step by step through assessment, mapping, product choice, and technique execution.

Availability & Scheduling

Shadow days are available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am to 4:30pm and include dedicated time at the end of the day for debriefing, questions, and clinical recap. Our clinic is closed on major US holidays. 

If you have a specific date in mind, please contact us at info@dccmacademy.com and we are happy to check availability for you. Alternatively, once your shadow day is purchased, a member of our team will reach out to secure you for the next available day that works for your schedule.

If you are hoping to observe specific treatments or laser procedures, let us know! Our team will do our best to place you on a day where those treatments are scheduled, and we can add you to our waitlist for preferred procedures as openings arise.

The shadow day is observational unless the hands-on model add-on is purchased. To add a mini private training to the end of your shadow day, please contact info@dccmacademy.com for details and approval. You must hold an active medical license valid in the state of New Hampshire to treat models during a private training.
